Gluten is a general name for the proteins found in wheat, rye, barley and triticale. These glutinous proteins help foods maintain their shape, acting as a glue that holds food together. Gluten can be found in many types of foods, even ones that would not be expected. There are a variety of reasons to opt for a gluten free diet including celiac disease, allergies and dietary preferences.
Our mixes are not produced in a nut free facility. However, we have separate production areas for allergens and non-allergens. Our products are non allergen and never touch any equipment where allergens would be produced and these two areas are on opposite ends of the building. Additionally, our non-allergen room is free from the top eight allergens.
Addi’s proprietary flour is the secret. We have searched far and wide to source the highest quality gluten-free certified, wheat-free, soy-free and casein-free ingredients that deliver the ultimate moisture, lightness and flavor for each of our products.
